The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has amended its Commercial Rights Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2028, 2031 and 2033, confirming the three editions covered by the commercial rights process.
The amendment notice, issued on 2 November 2026, updates the original ITT published on 23 July as CAF seeks to appoint commercial rights partners for the upcoming continental competitions.
The tender covers the next three AFCON editions following the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations PAMOJA 2027, including the final tournaments and qualifying competitions for 2028, 2031 and 2033.
CAF has set Monday, 16 November 2026, at 17:00 Cairo local time as the deadline for interested entities to submit their bids.
The amendment follows a unanimous decision by the CAF Executive Committee on 29 October 2026 to return AFCON to a two-year cycle.
CAF highlighted the competition's commercial appeal, revealing that the 2025 AFCON in Morocco attracted more than 3.2 billion television audience engagements and six billion digital views.
