KHARTOUM, Sudan — The Sudan Football Association (SFA) has appointed Mohamed Nour Salah El Din as the new administrative manager of the Sudan senior national team.

The appointment was announced by the SFA’s national teams committee, which highlighted Salah El Din’s extensive administrative and sporting experience with clubs and Sudan’s national teams.

Salah El Din spent more than a decade working with Hai Al-Arab Port Sudan, holding several positions between 2011 and 2023, including football manager, deputy secretary and head of the club’s sporting sector.

He was also part of the Hai Al-Arab setup that finished third in the Sudan Premier League in 2023.

His experience extends to the national-team level, having worked with Sudan’s national teams since 2023, particularly in the organisation of team receptions, travel arrangements and other administrative operations.

According to the SFA, Salah El Din was also involved with the administrative team of Sudan’s Olympic selection that won the bronze medal at the 2023 Arab Games in Algeria, while he served as administrative manager of the school national team that finished fourth at the African School Football Championship in Algeria.

He has also accompanied the Sudan senior national team on several overseas trips, including assignments in Saudi Arabia and Libya.

In February 2025, Salah El Din was appointed secretary of the Sudan Football Association alongside his membership of the national teams committee.

His latest appointment places him at the centre of the administrative operations of Sudan’s senior national team as the Falcons of Jediane continue their international campaign.

The SFA says the appointment is aimed at strengthening the administrative structure around the national team and benefiting from Salah El Din’s experience across club and international football.
