By: Summy Duku Ezbon | Sports Hunter South Sudan — South Sudan defender Milton Stephen Emmanuel has agreed a two-season pre-contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Fayha FC, in a potential move that would mark a significant step forward in his professional career.
The agreement was concluded on 7 August 2026 in Al Majma'ah, with Al-Fayha represented by club CEO Tawfiq Al Modaiheem and Stephen identified in the document as a first-team player. According to the pre-contract obtained by Sports Hunter South Sudan, the agreement covers the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons.
The contract is also understood to remain valid until the final match of the relevant sporting season if the campaign extends beyond its scheduled end date, with the agreed terms remaining unchanged.
According to the pre-contract obtained by Sports Hunter South Sudan, Milton Stephen is set to earn US$15,000 per month, with the salary beginning on 15 August 2026. The agreement also provides for housing, a residence car and flight tickets.
The 2026/27 season would represent a major transition for Stephen, who currently captains Kush FC, a non-league side based in Cairo, Egypt.
The former Al Rabita FC defender has now emerged as a potential addition to Al-Fayha's squad, subject to the completion of the remaining procedures required to formalise the move.
For Stephen, the proposed switch would represent a considerable rise from non-league football in Egypt to the professional game in Saudi Arabia. It would also add to the growing number of South Sudanese players pursuing opportunities abroad and could provide an important platform for Stephen to establish himself in professional football.
The pre-contract itself represents a significant step towards the move, but the transfer should not be considered fully completed until the outstanding registration and contractual formalities have been finalised.
If completed, Stephen will begin a new chapter with Al-Fayha, with his agreement currently scheduled to run across two seasons through 2027/28.
